We have been studying the work of Rene Magritte this term.

For such an ordinary person who lived an ordinary life, he made  surreal art that made you think.

Can anyone remember what surreal means?

Information reports

Today we looked at a site called Tumblebooks . We read a book on Dolphins together. We used what we already knew about writing an information report to create a mind map on Dolphins.

This is my first blog post. My job is to be an author and make people think by coming up with thinking problems.

My first problem for the class is ....

List as many uses as you can for a bucket.

Task 1 - UMBRELON

 1. Choose 2 objects that are not related to each other. For example a melon and an umbrella.

2. Draw a picture of the objects combined. This will be your new object.

3. Think of a name for your new object.

4. Write down ways of how your new object could be used.
